Senior HR Business Partner

Position Overview
We’re looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to lead a small, established HR team at SEGA’s West London headquarters. This is a hands-on operational role, with international reach, focused on delivering a high-quality HR service and partnering closely with the business to support day-to-day people needs and priorities.
Working with SEGA’s senior managers and collaborating with colleagues across the wider SEGA HR central services teams, the Senior HR Business Partner will provide practical guidance across talent, performance, engagement, and employee relations, ensuring HR activity is consistent, compliant, and aligned to business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of two (Jr HRBP & Team Coordinator), ensuring effective delivery and clear prioritisation of work.
Partner with senior managers across the business to provide pragmatic, commercially-focused HR advice and support.
Support organisational change initiatives, including team structures, role design, and workforce transitions.
Advise managers on performance management, employee relations, development, and engagement matters.
Work with Finance, Business Planning, and Total Reward teams to support headcount planning and workforce management for Corporate & Publishing Functions.
Oversee recruitment and talent planning activities in partnership with the wider HR team.
Ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation and company standards.
Use people data and employee feedback to identify trends, manage risk, and inform improvements to HR practices.
Lead on complex or sensitive employee relations cases as required.
Collaborate with HR Centres of Expertise to support engagement and communication initiatives.
Contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives as part of the extended SEGA HR team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Significant experience operating in a HR Business Partner role, ideally within an entertainment, media, or technology environment.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Professionally qualified in Human Resource Management (CIPD Level 7 or equivalent).
Strong working knowledge
