POSITION OVERVIEW 
As a key member of the SEGA West Publishing Marketing team (EMEA), the Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns for SEGA-published titles across PC and Console platforms. This includes new releases, downloadable content (DLC), back-catalogue promotions, and ad hoc tactical campaigns. The role requires close collaboration across multiple internal teams, including PR, Paid Media, Community, Creative Services, Digital & Physical Sales, Consumer Insights, Events, Finance and Commercial & Data Analysis, to ensure cohesive and commercially aligned campaign execution Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with SEGA’s Studio and Pillar brand teams gaining valuable insights into award winning studios such as The Creative Assembly, to help shape and position titles for maximum success within the EMEA market. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Lead and support the planning and execution of EMEA marketing campaigns for assigned titles, working closely with Brand teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across internal departments to ensure alignment and integration of marketing strategies.
  • Act as the key point of contact within the SEGA West Publishing Marketing team for assigned products—representing the titles both internally and externally with professionalism and passion.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality marketing assets for cross-functional teams including Sales, PR, Community, and Paid Media.
  • Coordinate the creation and localization of region-specific marketing materials (e.g., language-specific assets) in collaboration with Brand teams, Creative Services, and external agencies, as required.
  • Manage product marketing budgets efficiently—tracking spend, ensuring approvals, and delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and full-year budget reporting.
  • Collaborate with the internal Paid Media Team to set media and Influencer strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Sales team to ensure that digital retail needs, primarily Steam’s & other 1st Parties, are catered for
  • Support SEGA’s EMEA distributors, helping drive effective local execution of channel marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to event planning and logistics for press previews, partner demos, and distributor showcases—occasional travel across Europe as required.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the EMEA games market—including retail environments, consumer behaviour, pricing models, and competitive trends.
  • Create and deliver impactful presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support post-campaign analysis to evaluate marketing effectiveness, draw insights, and inform future strategy.
     

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Preferable marketing experience within a Global / European organization, ideally within the games industry or related entertainment industry.
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for video games and the games industry – preferably an experienced games player with a working knowledge across all platforms.
  • Pro-activeness to think ahead and identify tasks that need to be carried out and the motivation to complete these on their own initiative.
  • Must be detail oriented, possess good time management skills and be able to prioritize in a changing environment.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with all levels of seniority.
  • Proven interest in video games, marketing, media, and creative advertising campaigns.
  • A good understanding of SEGA’s current franchise portfolio is extremely desirable.
