Co-Development Coordinator
This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected Games Development Studio as Co-Development Coordinator based at our headquarters in Horsham, in the heart of West Sussex. As a member of the Co-Development team, the Co-Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting collaborative projects between Creative Assembly and external development partners, assisting with the logistics and administration of such engagements. This includes working with the Co-Development Leadership to oversee both financial aspects and development workflow for the engagements, raising purchase orders, ensuring the accuracy of invoices, and helping to onboard teams and hardware for co-development initiatives. The Co-Development Coordinator plays an essential role in promoting collaboration and ensuring the success of joint development efforts. This role can be offered on a hybrid basis. Key Responsibilities On a day-day basis, you will: Development Workflow:
- Collaborate with the CA Co-Development leadership and internal development teams to define engagement requirements and establish production schedules.
- Co-ordinate the onboarding and preparation of hardware, software, and access for the external team.
- Work jointly with the CA development teams to administer production briefs and facilitate resource sharing between internal and external teams.
- Work with the Co-Development Leadership to ensure co-development work is delivered on time and meets quality standards as defined by the internal development team.
- Monitor all delivery dates and key production milestones using dedicated trackers, and escalate any identified production risks to the Co-Development leadership.
Legal Documentation Administration:
- Submit contract engagement requests from internal development and Brand teams through the internal contract portal.
- Upload contracts, manage the signature process, and ensure all parties sign promptly, escalating any delays or issues to Co-Development Leadership where necessary.
- Submit IT hardware, software, and access requests through the internal contractor portal.
- Facilitate contract extensions and renewals in a timely manner.
Finance Administration:
- Raise purchase orders (POs) for each engagement.
- Administer new vendor setups with partners and the CA/Sega team.
- Receipt each PO line for delivered work or staff-augmented team months.
- Amend raised PO lines for deliverable changes or incorrect receipted values due to occurrences such as sickness or holidays.
- Ensure submitted invoices are accurate and address any issues or concerns with external partners and Sega Finance team.
Supporting Studio Management Reporting:
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to support scheduling requirements, track key action points and provide management reporting.
- Utilising operational data, administer co-development reporting and tracking.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to consolidate studio development reports for distribution.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential
- Proven ability to resolve issues
- Experience in managing backlog and identifying and prioritising tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to clearly communicate using a variety of methods to enable effective collaboration
- Ability to work well within a team
- Proficient using MS Office
Desirable
- Experience in coordinating the logistics and administration of co-development partnerships
- Knowledge of internal creative/production methods and external agency models
