The Role

Creative Assembly is looking for an Associate Content Producer to join our established Creative team. You will be responsible for delivering compelling short and long, live and in-game video content across Total War titles. You will join a team of diverse producers, with backgrounds across games, multimedia, and design aiding in the day-to-day production of ongoing video projects. You’ll support titles across the Total War franchise by crafting stories, developing new content ideas, and being a part of a team that delivers industry leading, world class content.

This role requires a flexible approach to content creation, blending storytelling, production, and game knowledge to create assets that put the player at the forefront of the viewing experience. You will be essential to the smooth delivery of content, aiding in all tasks from game-state preparation, social asset cut-downs, creation of subtitles, versioning, and more.

You will work with and be mentored by a strong Lead Content Producer with support from the wider Creative team to help you be the best creative you can be.

What you’ll be doing

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Deliver high-impact in-game content aligned with the Project Lead’s creative vision and CA’s strategic objectives.

  • Work alongside the Content Producers to interpret scripts and setup gameplay states ready for capturing.

  • Collaborate with a fast-moving creative team to shape premium social cutdowns from flagship campaign assets.

  • Monitor and interpret emerging trends across gaming and social platforms, proactively contributing to our evolving content approach to stay ahead of the industry curve.

  • Develop deep expertise in our games and in-engine tools to consistently achieve cinematic, world-class results.

  • Partner across SEGA Publishing, IP partners and the wider video game industry to support and elevate the storytelling behind Total War.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • A love of making video content at any level.

  • Someone who is on the pulse of what’s new in the gaming social space.

  • Can turn concepts and ideas into something exciting that people want to watch.

  • Basic understanding of film language, structure, pacing and editing.

  • Someone who can prove that they have a good eye for scene composition.

  • Basic knowledge working with Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.

  • We work in a fast paced, exciting industry, you need to be agile, open to change and quick to enact feedback.

  • A great communicator who knows when you lean on their team for help, advice and actively seeks to better their skills.

  • When things get crazy you can stay focused and on task.

Desirable

  • Interest in 2D motion graphics.

  • Knowledge of audio editing and how to deliver engaging voice overs.

  • Knowledge of live filming, camera and light settings.

  • A passion and love for both games and film.
